The death has occurred of Vincent Gavin – Great Oaks, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – August 7th, 2026 (peacefully) at his home in the company of his loving and devoted family.

Predeceased and now re-united with his beloved wife Eithne.

Loving father of Ruth, John and Vinny and adored grandfather of Emily, Alana, Vincey, Leah and Richie. Vincent will be very sadly missed and always lovingly remembered by his family, son-in-law Francis, daughter-in-law Megan, John’s partner Tara, brother Des, sisters-in-law Evelyn (Prendergast) and Bridget, nieces, nephews, kind carers, neighbours, friends and former colleagues at St Loman’s.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Sunday (August 9th) from 4.30 pm to 6 pm and followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.  Funeral Mass on Monday (August 10th) at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
