Alec Henry – Hopestown, Ballinea, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – June 2, 2020 (peacefully) at home in the company of his devoted wife and family.

Beloved husband of Barbara and dear father of Susan, Alec, Philip, Trevor and Garrett and dear step-father of Sarah and Jason; he will be sadly missed by his wife and family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, family circle and friends.

The death has occurred of Joe Canning

Joe Canning – Clongowney, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Bohey, Co Leitrim – passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020, at home in the devoted care of his loving wife and family, after an illness borne with great dignity.

Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret and his brother Jimmy; Joe will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Rose, his dear sons Aidan and Derek and daughter Orla, his adored grandchildren Shane, Ryan, David, Josh, Ashton and Sadie, daughters-in-law Paula and Sharon, brother Gerry, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Anna May and Bridie, brothers-in-law Michael, Tommie and Donie, nephew, nieces and a large circle of friends.

Rosaleen Clarke (née Ghee) – Lynn Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – June 1, 2020 (peacefully) in her 94th year in the devoted care of the Matron and staff of Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar.

 

Beloved wife of the late Michael Oliver and dear mother of Pauline McLarney (Canada), John (Canada), Rosaleen Rubino (Canada), Michael (Australia), Deirdre Clarke (Dublin) and Brendan (Celbridge).

 

She will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her adored many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Loving husband of Eileen, dear father of Emer (Reilly), Oonagh and Paul and adored grandad of Jack, Katie, Conor, Muireann and Niamh. Paddy will be sadly missed by his wife and family, sister Kathleen (Moran), sons-in-law Niall and Thomas, daughter-in-law Jen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, especially Jeffrey and David and their families, neighbours and many friends.

The death has occurred of Ivan Bourke

Ivan Bourke – Ardmore Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – April 26, 2020 (peacefully) following a short battle with Covid 19, in the heroic, professional and loving care of the staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Elsie (née Durham). Much loved father of David, Olwyn, Shirley and Adele and father-in-law to Louis, Bob and Jean (deceased), lovingly remembered by his wonderful sister Edie McCullagh, his grandchildren Anna, Cuán, Sorcha, Aoife, Fionnuala, Callum, Adam, Emily, Alex and Harvey, their partners, his great-grandchildren Clara, James, Alice, Fia and Cillian, brother-in-law George, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our family, friends, neighbours, Rev Alastair Graham and the congregation of All Saints Church (of which Dad was the organist for many years).
