Frances Taaffe (Née Hughes), Auteven, Rathcolman, Mullingar, Co Westmeath, late of Clonminch, Tullamore, Co Offaly and formerly of Portlaoise, Co Laois – 5 August, 2026.

Frances died peacefully at her home in the company of her loving and devoted family.

Predeceased and now re-united with her beloved husband Jack.

Frances will be dearly missed and remembered with love by her children, Jon, Karen, Conor, Leslie, Paul and Josef, by her sons-in-law Vincent and Martin, daughters-in-law Áine and Rita, her cherished grandchildren, John Anthony, Lesley-Ann, Kira, Vinóg, Jill, Ian, Maiya and Anisha.  Also sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters Kathleen Feely (Dublin) and Margaret Quigley (Galway), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and dear friends.

Remembering also the deceased members of the Hughes and Taaffe families.

Reposing at her home in Rathcolman, Mullingar (N91 D7W2) on Friday 7th August from 5 pm concluding at 7 pm.   Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 8th August at 11 am in the Church of the Assumption, Walshestown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.   The Mass may be viewed live on the following Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/share/18LanztEYN/?mibextid=wwXIfr
