Morris Bentick – Irishtown Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Coventry, England – died peacefully on July 18, 2026 in his 90th year, with his loving wife and family by his side, and in the excellent and tender care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham.

Beloved husband of Eileen, adored father of Peter and Anne-Marie and loving grandfather of his precious grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory, Megan, Leanne, Luke, Charlie, Blake and Anna and great-grandfather of dear Harry and Ralph.

Sadly and lovingly missed by his family, son-in-law Pat Carton, daughter-in-law Samantha, sister-in-law Rita, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Monday 20 July from 4.30 pm to 6 pm followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 21 July at 11 am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
