Adrienne Hanrahan – Hopestown and late of Green Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – died on 31 May 2026, peacefully, with her loving family by her side and in the gentle care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore and previously at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by her loving partner John (Keenan), parents Maisie and Jack, her dear nephew Stephen Tighe and brother-in-law John Tighe.

Adrienne will be forever loved, missed and remembered by her brother Trevor, sisters Carol, Pamela and Mary, brother-in-law Chris, the Keenan family, Nancy and Tom (Cuffe), Christy and Maura, and Eugene and Catherine. Dearly missed and fondly remembered also by her nieces and nephews Aidan, Gerard, Mark, Noelle, Morgan, Jack, Dylan, Orla and Oliver, relatives, extended family, neighbours and many friends and special friends Stacey, Evelyn, Donal and Bridget.

MAY ADRIENNE’S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at her home (N91 R5D2) on Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm.

The funeral cortege will leave her home on Thursday at 1.30 pm for Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of Christ the King at 2 pm.

Burial will take place in Castletown Geoghegan Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank all who cared for Adrienne during her illness.
