The death has occurred of Peter Carroll of Millmount Avenue, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and Lisbon, Portugal – January 11th, 2026 (suddenly but peacefully) at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Bob and Cissy, sister Antoinette, and his recently deceased brother Bobby.
Peter will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his partner Margarida, his children Ruth, Lisa, Ronan and Conor, their mother Martha, son-in-law Jeff, Ronan’s partner Aisling, and his adored granddaughter Sophie, brothers Gerry and Tom, sisters Marie and Olive, sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday January 15th from 3.30 pm with prayers at 6 pm. Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 16th, at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King and may be viewed on the live webcam at http://www.mullingarparish.ie
Burial afterwards in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marlinstown, Mullingar.
