The death has occurred of John Lafferty – Newbrook Grove, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Scotland – June 3, 2025 (peacefully) at his home in the company of his loving wife and children, following an illness borne with great strength and grace.

Devoted husband and best friend of Moire and devoted dad of Clíona, Euan, Róisín and Aisling. John will be deeply missed and always remembered by Moire and the children, his sisters Geraldine, Tracy and Joanne, close cousin Neil, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends and former work colleagues at HSE.

MAY JOHN’S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at his home on Thursday June 5th from 5 pm concluding with prayers at 7 pm and house private thereafter please.

Requiem Mass on Friday June 6th at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King and the Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.
Burial will take place afterwards in Ballyglass Cemetery.
