The death has occurred of Eileen Smyth (née Lyons) – Dalton Park, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – April 11, 2025 (peacefully at home following an illness bravely borne) in the company of her loving and devoted family.

A dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister; Eileen will be very sadly missed and always remembered by her husband Seamus, son Martin, daughter Theresa, adored grandchildren Ruby and Darragh, son-in-law Simon, brothers John and Frank, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home Mullingar (N91 K660) on Sunday evening April 13th from 6.45 pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 8 pm.

Eileen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 14th at 1.30 pm followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.
