The death has occurred of Mary (Mollie) McDermott (née Doherty) – Bellview Heights, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – October 25, 2024 (peacefully) in the company of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her baby daughter Teresa.

A dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mollie will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her loving husband Oliver, children Monica, Rosemary, Caroline, Siobhán, Sandra, Stephen and Ciarán, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Hilda, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Sunday 27th October from 3.30 pm concluding with prayers at 5.30 pm.
Mollie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 28th October in the Cathedral of Christ the King at 2 pm followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
