The death has occurred of Brendan Cawley – Cullionmore, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – August 16, 2024 (peacefully) in the company of his loving and devoted family and in the tender care of the staff at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Bríd.

A much loved father, grandfather and friend, Brendan will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his dear family, daughter Ann (Duncan) and son Pat, adored grandchildren Sarah, Alice, Luke, Louise, Arunas and Kajus, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Helen and Angela, brother-in-law Kevin, sister-in-law Christina, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Saturday August 17th from 4 pm concluding with prayers at 6 pm.  Funeral Mass on Tuesday August 20th at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in Walshestown cemetery.  The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at http://www.mullingarparish.ie.
