The death has occurred of Tony Buckley – Grove Court and late of Hillside Drive, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Kanturk, Co Cork – July 31, 2024 (peacefully) at St James’ Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Carol.

Tony will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife and best friend Madeleine, his adored son Tony, brother Joe, sister Sr Anne (Presentation Sisters), sisters-in-law Tessie, Ita, Monica and Ann, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends and former colleagues and pupils of St Finian’s College, Mullingar.

Remembering also the deceased members of the Buckley and Anglicas families.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Monday August 5th from 6.30 pm concluding with prayers at 8 pm.

Tony’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Christ the King on Tuesday at 11 am. Private cremation will take place later.
