The death has occurred of Stephen Tighe – Gleann Petit, Mullingar, and formerly of Clonmore Heights, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath – December 24th, 2025 (suddenly) at his home.
Predeceased by his Dad, John (Mullingar & Belmullet) and Aunt Alice and Uncle JJ.
Stephen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife and best friend Stacey, adored son Oliver, brokenhearted mother Pamela. Aunts Adrienne (Hanrahan), Carol (Hanrahan) and Mary (Gorman), Uncle Trevor, parents-in-law; Harry and Rachel Brant, sisters-in-law; Rachel, Ruth, Jean, Martina and Naomi, brother-in-law Harry, Aunts Mary, Anne and Vera, Uncles Willie and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, extended families, many friends and former colleagues in the civil service and Bernard John Jewellers, Maynooth.
MAY STEPHEN REST IN PEACE
Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, College Street. Mullingar (N91 K660) on Tuesday 30th December from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 6pm, followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, arriving at 6:30pm. Stephen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday 31st of December. Funeral Mass may be viewed on the live webcam (Cathedral of Christ the King) at the link below.
Burial will take place in Ballyglass Cemetery.
