The death has occurred of John Walsh – Stableford, Kilpatrick, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Ballyfermot, Dublin – August 25, 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving wife and family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by his parents Phil and John and his sister Beatrice.

Beloved husband and best friend of Marian and dear father of Wayne and David; John will be very sadly missed and always remembered by his family, daughters-in-law Belina and Brona, loving sisters Ann and Veronica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Aunt Sheila, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his family home on Wednesday August 27th from 5 pm to 7 pm.

John’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Christ the King Mullingar on Thursday August 28th at 12 noon and may be viewed on the live webcam at http://www.mullingarparish.ie.   Cremation Service at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 3 pm and may be viewed on the live webcam at http://www.lakelandscrematorium.ie using Password Crem28T
