The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) McGovern – Beech Grove, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Gurteen, Co Sligo – May 3, 2025 (peacefully) following a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, with his loving family by his side and in the excellent care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

Beloved husband of Sheila and father of Stephen and Christine. Patrick will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and family, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, College Street, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Tuesday May 6,2025 from 1 .30 pm concluding with Funeral Service at 2.30 pm. A private cremation will take place afterwards.
