The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Thompson – Newlands, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Casino Park, Marino and Glasnevin, Dublin – April 23, 2025 (peacefully) in the company of his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Johnny will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Kathleen, his beloved children – sons Kieran, John, Robert, Stephen and Godfrey, daughters Phyllis and Gladys, his adored grandchildren, sisters Gladys, Flo and Trish, brother George, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home Mullingar (N91 K660) on Friday April 25, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm.   Funeral Service on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 12 noon in All Saints Church Mullingar (N91 DE70) followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
