The death has occurred of Catherine D’Arcy (née Fitzpatrick) – Monroe, Slanemore, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Urlingford, Co Kilkenny – December 29th, 2024 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by her beloved daughter Sharon.

Catherine will be very sadly missed by her husband Anthony, sons Padraig, Richard and Gerard, daughter Antoinette, her beloved grandchildren Edward, Rachel and Darcy, brother Patrick (Sonny), sisters Mary, Anne, Theresa and Breda, daughter-in-law Veronica, son-in-law Seamus, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm with Removal to the Church of the Assumption Walshestown arriving at 6.30 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
