Michael passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in the care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin on August 3rd 2024.

Predeceased by his beloved son Michael Jnr., his parents Pala and Lil and sister Mary.

Michael will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his devoted wife Betty, sons Alan, Aidan, Frank, Patrick and daughter Elizabeth, his beloved grandchildren Chloe, Dean, Aisling, Sophie, Elliott, Oisín, Seoige and Clodagh, sister Ann (Murtagh), nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, extended family, great neighbours and lifelong friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.
Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery.
