The death has occurred of David McDonagh, Portmarnock, Dublin and formerly Harbour Terrace, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – November 20, 2023 (peacefully) following a long illness bravely borne and in the wonderful care of the staff at St Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Joan, David will be sadly missed and always remembered by his brothers Michael and Roger, sister-in-law Ailish, nephews Alan, Michael, Stephen, Jonathon, Philip and niece Sarah, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Wednesday from 4.30 p.m. concluding with prayers at 6 p.m.

David’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Walshestown on Thursday at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
