The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Fallon – Hillside Drive, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly Caltra, Co Galway (retired An Garda Síochána) – October 10, 2023 (peacefully) with his family by his side and in the wonderful care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, his infant son William, brothers Bill, Tommy, Anthony and Francis, and sisters Annie and Teresa.

Joe was loved deeply and will be profoundly missed by his loving children Mary, Declan and Ken and their partners John, Marc and Fiona, his adored grandchildren Aisling, Ciara, Toby and Jake, brother Jack, sister Liz, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his many many friends and former colleagues in An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday from 4 p.m. concluding with prayers at 5.30 p.m. and folllowed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6 p.m.

Joe’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. and may be viewed on the live webcam here.  Burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
