The death has occurred of Kathleen Gallagher (née Ward) – Ballagh, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Roughra, Killybegs, Co Donegal on  April 19, 2023 (peacefully) at home in the loving care of her devoted husband and family.

Kathleen will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Fionn, sons Seán, Patrick, Paul, Eunan and Niall, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters Susanna (McShane), Brigid (Mangan) and Phyllis (Melly), brother Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who cared for Kathleen during her illness.

Reposing at her home at Ballagh (N91 R7N8) on Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral of Christ the King Mullingar followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.
