The death has occurred of Michael Rainsford – Burgesland, Streete, Co Westmeath and formerly of Newport, Co Tipperary – (Retired NT) – February 6, 2023 (peacefully) in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Dearly loved husband of Kathleen and adored father of Eilish, Ruth, Eleanor, Sharon and Stephanie; Michael will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, sons-in-law, his adored grandchildren Fred, Sam, Laura, Róisín, Caitríona, Michael, Fionán, Eve, Ruairí, Dan and Emma, brother Martin, sisters Ann and Pauline, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, former colleagues and students at Lismacaffrey National School, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home (N91 PV06) on Thursday February 9th from 5 o’c to 7 o’c and house private at all other times.

Requiem Mass on Friday February 10th at 1 o’c in St Mary’s Church, Boherquill followed by burial in Streete Cemetery.  The Mass may be viewed live on https://www.facebook.com/Rjpdolan.378.
